New signs are now in place!
After probably too many years F1 Systems has done a bit of a refresh with new roof and window signs. The roof sign is a refacing of the old sign which had become yellowed with age and said Computers rather than the company name. A former employee joked that the sign said Computers in case we had to ever sell it to make ends meet. That was a long time ago and we are happy to finally have our company name on the roof sign. Our thanks for the speedy service and great work from our friends at BSC Signs.
We also have new window signs. These are old-school window signs, hand painted with stencils and brushes, in the wind and the snow of a Colorado early spring. Our friend Chuck Dorsey is a talented sign painter and takes great pride in being one of the few folks who still hand paint signs. For us, the choice was clear. Most window signs are vinyl letters cut out and stuck to the glass, they look great but don’t age well compared to paint. Come see for yourself what a difference the paint makes. Chuck was recently written up in Westword magazine.
We are pleased with the new signs as evidenced by how seeing them each morning makes us smile. Pretty sure that will wear off but its pretty special right now and we appreciate all the good comments we have heard, as well.
Still have a couple of things we want to do so stay tuned to see what goes into those empty windows. Thanks, as always, for your attention.
Warren
